    Playing around with the camera this week. I bought some extension tubes($7 on ebay!) and was playing around. All taken with a 50mm lens. Depth of field is crazy thin, can't remember what F stop. Could have been wide open. ;D Next time I'll be sure to check and play around with some focus stacking to try and get the whole thing in focus.

    Man I tell you what. It is one of those corals that you just have to see in person.
    The first time I saw one I was at a frag swap and could see this small fingernail size piece from across the room. It glows like a piece of gold. They're getting cheap now.

    There was one at a frag swap not too long ago, but they wanted $100 for a .5" frag. Tried to talk them down, but no go. Almost went for it anyways...

    They do seem to be going for that on the internet but local seems to be much less. Mine was small about my small pinky nail for $40. But they grow so fast who cares if it's a little small. Probably grows as fast as a typical encrusting monti.
