Would a green Kenya Tree Coral fight/sting poly?

I would like to move my tree to a different part of the tank but the area is heavily populated with poly where I would like to put it. The tree will sits about 2 to 3 inch above the poly it’s also still a " baby/small" tree.

As far as I know soft corals don't have nematocysts (stinging cells) they specialize in chemical warfare.

I've got polyps that are spreading under my trees. I don't think that would be a problem.

The paly may sting the tree depending on what kind of paly it is.
