    Hello everyone,

I just picked up this Miami Hurricane Chalice with 20 + eyes and even showing growth of baby eyes around the edge of the piece. It is about 3 inches across and is by far the largest chalice in my tank.

I decided to get it since I have had a Hollywood Stunner Chalice in my tank for 2 weeks and it has already put off 2 new eyes. I also have some unknown pink chalice that is showing considerable growth as well. And it doesn't hurt that I got the piece for only $100.

    And the pics of course:

Please note the picture is only under actinics since I just introduced it to the DT. I don't want to burn it...that is also why it is under a rock outcropping for now.

    What do you think?

That is a nice frag. Great colors. What are the requirements to keep one?

Well I am definitely no expert when it comes to chalice care...but from what I have seen in my tank they thrive in medium to low light (all three of my chalices are positioned under rock overhangs) and medium to low flow.

The person I purchased it from said you can Target feed them cyclops and mysis and they will put out feeder tentacles! Haven't tried it yet but I do feed the rest of my lps so I will try it soon.

Thanks for the compliment as well!
