Awesome pick up today!!

I love craigslist!

Today I picked up a drop-in chiller (think it's a 1/3 or 1/2 HP) for $100. It works awesome!! Ices up very quickly. I just need to get a temperature controller for it. I was looking for a 30L or 40L and cam across this. Had to get it. The guy had no idea I don't think what they usually run. He originally wanted $150! He also tossed in some protein skimmer (needs a pump). He say his friend had these bog on his 220 gal.

I'm just happy about the chiller, looks exactly like a Aqualogic cyclone.

Anybody have a drop-in? What do you think of it? Debating which to use, I also have a 1/3hp aqualogic delta star 4 inline.

 

You have too many chillers, I think you should bring one on over ;D I have 0 experience with them, but I know a good deal when I see one, nice going!! I just fell into a deal last weekend that was $800 retail (Lighting, Controller, Salt, 4 huge socks, 2 part Kent CB) for $150 . . .gogo craigslist!

Yes, I now Have 3 chillers. Couldnt pass up the deals. Probably going to use the drop in on my 125 gal reef that I am in progress of putting together and upgrading from a 65gal reef.

also have a Euro Usa 1/10 that I picked up for $50 when My LFS when out of business and cleared his store out.
