Got an azure damsel as one of my starter fish and it instantly disappeared...Myself and my GF saw it a few times the next morning but then not for 2 days, not even at feeding times. I thought the worst and that it had died and we figured its body was in a cave or something but when we moved some rock to look for it we saw it alive and kickn so we left it alone but 2 days later still nothing...another note we put an electric blue damsel, and 2 small clown fish in as well and they all seem to be doing great...the blue damsel settled on the opposite side of the tank as the azure so i not thinking bullying, but don't know if somethings wrong or this is normal???
any insight would be appreciated thanks :)

I believe a 120 based on the OP's build thread. But still seems like adding livestock a little too fast.

Unfortunately I don't have any experience with Damsels, so I can't really help. However I would recommend QT'ing all new fish. Not only will this help to prevent disease in your tank, but also give new fish time by themselves to get used to you.

The Azures are one of the more timid damsels,it could be intimidated by the electric blue or could just need more time to acclimate.I have had mine about four years,it is very active and visable most of the time and does not bother any tankmates.

They usually stay in groups so one will probably remain timid especially with a more aggressive species in the tank.Your tank is plenty big try adding 2 more Azures after a few weeks of course.;)

FWIW, I have Domino, Three-Stripe, and Yellow-Tail Damsels, and after 2.5 years, they still dart into the rockwork when they see me- unless I'm holding the food container, of course. :)
