b ionic

anyone have experience with the b ionic 2 part system for calcium and alk? i want conditions right for my coralline growth i think this system will take care of it.

 

It is a good two part, but I would suggest for long term use getting two part from bulkreefsupply.com or somewhere like that. Over the long term you will save yourself money. However, it is a smaller system (30 gallons or less) then using B-ionic would be just fine, you wouldnt save yoruself that much money anyways.

I use it and have succesfuly raised my calcium from 380 to 440 and my Alk from 8 to 11.
I have been in the process of figuring out my daily dose amount which i have just about nailed down.Been using it about a month now and have noticed increased coral health and corolline growth.Dont forget about your mag levels though or you will have a hard time balancing cal and Alk.I use Tech M and am currently at 1400.Hope this helps.Let me know if u have any more questions about it.

 

Great advice, I used to use and it works great. Just becareful that you dont over dose and remember to test for whatever you dose. Only down side to all those 2-part systems is that sometimes you'll find yourself using one element more than the other and you'll be forced to buy the two bottles.

Ive used it for years and like it, great product typically buy the 1/2 gallon jugs.
I'm actually ditching my ca reactor and switching back to this when I set my tank back up
