I glanced at my tank Friday afternoon and saw a lot of little tiny white dots on the glass. I thought NOT ASTERINA!! So I went and got the magnifying glass and looked at one, and it is a baby snail, appears to be a turbo snail. They are everywhere. Is this a normal happening?? Will they survive?? This is a first for me and my tank. Thanks

there is a species of "mini turbos", i think they're called colonista or something like that. harmless/beneficial. every morning i've got HUNDREDS of them all over my glass but they disappear as the lights come on.

They are most likely collonista snails. I love them because they are free cleaner and food for some wrasses. They don't grow big - biggest I have seen is around 1/4".
