Well, while looking in my fuge today I realized that I have quite a few small abalone in there. I counted about 8, but I think theres more. The biggest I saw was about 1/2in and most of the others were 1/4in. So my question is, are they harmful? Should I just leave them be or take them out?

Are you sure they are Abalone and not chitons or limpets?

I have had smaller Abalone in my larger tanks, the only harm they caused was knocking over frags and rocks. They are great algae eaters.

No they are film algae eaters, considered beneficial.
