    cool! thanks for your guys' help! also...do they usually grow at a very small pace?? is there anything i can do to help it along?

    If it's a majano, you don't want it to grow. You want it to die :)

    Agreed if its a majano.. you do not want it in your tank.
    If it is a condy then they are a nice nem to have.

    I am leaning more toward majano now.. I have never seen a condy this small..
    and if it was a condy you would have probably known it.. they need much more to live than a majano. did it come as a hitchiker or just come with your tank in general?

    well i just got this tank from a friend of mine and they didnt mention anything about it when they walked me through the tank. i just noticed it later. but it has been there the whole time and i havent added in any new rock or anything yet

    Get boiling hot water, suck it up into a syringe. Get an airline tube and put it on the syringe then squirt the hot water through the tube onto its foot. Scoop it out with a net and let it dry out on a paper towel and drop it in the trash can. :)
