Baby Astrea Snail?

    I think this may be a baby astrea. Its kind of star shaped and tiny maybe 2-4mm. It is definitely moving as well.

    do you mean Asterina star fish?

    its difficult to see on image (for me anyway)

    Maybe i really have no idea what it is in the picture. Its kind of in the center of the frame.

    Oh yeah I see it.... Its a Asterina starfish.. Where there's one there's more..

    It took me a few seconds to spot it as well, I was looking for a snail at first;)
    Yep , definitely an asterina starfish.

    Now if the population of asterinas gets out of control, I have heard of one local reefer that swears that they started eating his corals. But he had a ton of them. I also think that he had other issues, personally, as his is the only case I have heard of like that, and I know other folks that have quite a few asterina stars that think their populations are excessive and they have had no issues.

    I have a lot of these asterinas, but not as many as some folks do.
