oops i spelled barely wrong..hope it caught your attention, haha

    Hey guys,

I just added a baby clownfish and a baby cardinal to my 20 gallon tank. I acclimated them for 45 minutes, then put them in my tank. The clownfish seems to be doing great, he is swimming around and seems to be very happy. Meanwhile, the cardinal is just handing out at the bottom of the tank and isn't swimming around much. Do you think this is bad sign or do you think he is just isn't used to the tank yet?

    Thanks

As a rule cardinals don't swim much at all. They hover. The new home syndrome is most always an issue. The fish must get used to new parameters. They are sensitive to that. Also something to consider.......cardinals are best kept in pairs. They can get stressed if they are alone.
