baby snail

    can any one tell me how snails breed or reproduce. i have a baby(of what appears to be)an astrea snail and i have not put any thing in this tank for a while so i'm thinking my snails are {gettin busy}:eek:::) is this possable?

    Some squirt into water column, and some lay eggs on the glass. Not sure how they can make it sometimes, but we've had some come in on live rock. Babies ,babies, everywhere. Night-diving is the best !

    There are also tiny tiny snails that seemed to seep out of my LR once my cycle finished there were so many... these aren't babies, just small snails.

    Don't know what you have though...
