okay i noticed these things on the glass
and they looked like baby snails
i was thinking it was my "turbo snails" [not sure if they actually are... heres a link to a picture...]
    http://i329.photobucket.com/albums/l373/HxCxHaley/0816092200.jpg

    or this thing
im not sure where it came from or what it is
heck for all i know it could be a baby "turbo snail" full grown or something.. but the shell is flat. like one side of a clam or something. its about a Centimeter long.. not the shell. the whole thing when fully extended out.
i did not introduce this into my tank
    please explain what it is!

i have a few of those... i tthink it might be babies of that cuz the shells look similar.

things i also am curious about...

also.. my ocellaris clown. the 3rd stripe is darker than the rest.. why?! i noticed it in the last week or 2
but ive had him for awhile and he was fine before...
i plan on introducing another ocellaris into the tank and getting a host anemone and hope they have babies.. good or bad idea?

and my tang.. he changes colors which i would assume is normal. and i iknow its not just the lighting.. he goes from a light pale almost white to a dark brownish blackish gray almost
heres a picture of himmm... what kind is he..? i forgot :[

back end is always darker than the rest and the top front sometimes is a yellowish color...

    thanks a ton!

the tang gobbles down TONS of food. before the poor ocellaris can get at it. he seems very happy and hides behind the rocks, and comes out and everything.
i offer him food everyday, twice sometimes three times a day for 5min sessions. pellets, brine shrimp, flakes, and he also picks at the algae

tangs need a lot of green in their diets. I would get some dried seaweed for him and some spirulina flakes to keep him healthy. They are very disease prone and get sick extremely easy. Make sure the food you are currently feeding is a quality name brand.

+1 Stomatella snails....very beneficial snails. keep in tank. not sure about the first pic of the snail...never seen it.

Stomatella's are good and agree on the ID.. not sure about the first snail though.

and that tang is not a sailfin... is a scopas... tangs change color all the time... my yellow gets vertical white stripes...
my sailfin will go from light to dark all the time..
