    Your lionfish eats mysis/brine shrimp? aren't they too small. I would say stick to feeding it frozen krill and silversides(or whatever fish you're feeding it). Live feeders are really cool to feed, but since they're freshwater they aren't very healthy.

    He takes bites out of the frozen blocks when they are dropped in the tank, given the size of the lion and the size of feeders I'm assuming this would be ok until he starts to get a bit bigger and feeding 'larger' fish becomes more appropriate. I'm aware that freshwater live feeders are bad, just wondering if i could get away with it every now and then for a party trick :p

    do you know the of the feeders your are feeding to it? If you feed live feeders every once in a while it's okay as long as he doesn't stop eating the frozen fish.

    currently the frozen feeders consists of frozen portions of whitebait. I'm cutting it up as its far too big for the lionfish. I"m not 100% its whitebait, i'm doing it from memory as i'm currently at work... lol

    just put 3/4 quarters of a cube of frozen brine... two gulps and it was gone...lol a guts already :)
