    Great adds, pics and tank.
    I'm sure there'll be a ton o' snapping in the tank :)
The first pic of the cat...I'm sure it's thinking "If I only had thumbs...."

    Thank you, Vinny!
Right now I hear several snaps a night. I kinda try to target those areas when feeding hoping they'll get something to eat. And yeah, my cat wishes she had thumbs ALLLL the time LOL.

A couple more adds to the tank. A few weeks ago we decided to add a cleaner shrimp, since the fish kept presenting to the peppermint shrimp & going away disappointed. At the LFS they had 2 sizes. Really small and really big. Knowing my big cardinal would love to eat a very small shrimp, we got the very big.

Problem is, he's the same size as the fish so they're afraid of him! It's been an interesting few weeks watching him try so desperately to clean someone, anyone! He's living where the large cardinal used to hang out, and when the large cardinal gets close enough, the shrimp lunges and swims toward it, scaring the crap out of the cardinal LOL.

He tries a different tactic with Spot (the orange spot goby). He tries to casually sneak up on him. He pretends he's checking the rock and sand for food till he gets to where Spot hangs out, tickles him with the antennae and Spot doesn't move, then he reaches slowly for him. Spot then hops or darts away. Spot is the one who presents the most to the peps, so that's kinda crappy! Spot also teases him by perching up on the rocks close to the cleaning station.

We were thinking of trying to get a medium-sized one to see what happens, maybe once they start getting cleaned they'll not worry about who's doing the cleaning.

He's now been dubbed "Antennas" by my boyfriend.

Next add was a week ago Thursday. Came home to find this floating in the tank in a bag. My boyfriend has been wanting one for a while. When he saw it at the store he thought it was just boring brown & white, but when we got it in the tank it was gold and maroon looking under our lights.

Yeah, it adds some nice diversity to the tank.
My very first feather duster in my 3 gallon tank in 2002 was solid burgundy (got it at Petco). I would love to find another one like that, but I haven't had any success yet even finding just pics of one like I had.

So last night I was watching the tank. As I sat giggling because a hermit walked right into Spot (the orange-spot just raised up enough to let it pass under LOL), Spot grabbed a mouthful of sand and sifted it!!! So basically it took almost 3 months to see him sift sand...I didn't think he had it in him!
