What do you guys think of blue vs. black vs. aqua background colors.

I have black right now and considering a change.

I have blue and really like it. I actually used spray paint and made it darker in some areas to give it some depth. It is a very subtle effect but makes it look nice I think

Ok i was thinking of something while reading this. I have eggcrate on top of my tank which is very close to my 400 watt MH light, and i also have the black trim peice around the top, the eggcrate isnt really even warm and the black part is hot. So with that in mind wouldnt a black background attract heat more than a blue BG. Im probably wrong but just a thought?? Chime in on what you all think. But i like the darker blue to black BG.

well black does attract more light which will equal out to making it feel warmer. i wouldnt think there would be a dramatic change in temp though. if anything id assume (assume being the key word) that it be a degree more maybe two. nothing to make it fatal

I like black or blue. I dont like tape-on backgrounds.
