Background Paint

    Mine wasn't an inwall... but it was a tank that had all 3 sides blacked out. I modified it with windows on the sides and scraped off the old paint. If you can't see it from the outside you would probably want to paint the sides you can' t see from the outside.

    Very good point on the wall. I did not even think of that. I did just go out to Home Depot and bought black spray paint.. Going to test it on a piece of glass but I brought a rubber spray that the advertise as a spray for tool handles. (ie like you would see on plyers) not that I would spray that think but my thought is that this will peel off in the event that I would need it to.

    If you are going to paint it take back the spray and use a roller with a latex paint. That is what a couple my reef buddies used and like it over the spray. What I bought a a black background from the LFS that I think works great. Just spray the glass with water and pull the film off and apply. Use a plastic straight edge to push the bubbles out. Think it toke me about 30 minutes top to do the back of my 150.
