    Hi All,

I'm thinking I would like a backing on my tank, but I don't want to tape it and have everyone be able to see the tape....do any of you know a special type of backing, or a way to apply the backing so that it looks nice and clean?

    Thanks!! :)

krylon fusion spraypaint is what went on mine. You can also buy the plastic backgrounds and use ky jelly and a credit card to get it to stick. Seems to hold up long term. there are also commercial background lubes. Its just some BS trying to get all of the bubbles of KY out.

I used a roll on flat latex, even screwed it up the first time and had to peel it off so it's not permanant but wont just fall off, took about 10 thin coats to get it to look good though

Good ideas. I never thought about painting it....maybe I'll try the latex so if I don't like it I can peel it off.

    Thank you!

I like the latex idea first that way if you don't like the color, it's not too hard to change it.

I've been thinking of painting an entire scene on the back with latex paint and going over to fill in gaps with black. I use latex and acrylic paints a lot for different shoes and shirts.
