    Once again i must have too much time. I was taking a few pictures of the tank with the lights off and didnt see this guy till i was looking at the pictures on my PC. Is this guy bad? He sure does look it. Also, is he it eating the coraline?, it seems there are chunks missing within his reach.
    grateful for any input

    Hey! Nice picture. Relax, it's a peanut worm. It's a detritivore if I remember correctly. I think he might graze algae as well. Completely harmless and very common.

    thanks guys. I had pictures of that 6' worm that was found in the PVC of a tank, and that this guy would break out of my tank!!!!

    Alot of cool stuff on Melevsreef too.

    Are you talking about the Oregon reef? With that Eunicid worm. Now that's an ugly worm.
