    The best thing to do on a seized nut is put the handle of the breaker bar inside a piece of galv pipe and gently pushing down on the pipe rather than putting all your weight on the breaker bar to get it to move. Leverage is your friend.

    Sorry to hear about this Tbelt.:( I broke my right foot 2 1/2 months ago and it's mostly healed but still tender. Your going to need help with your fish tank. I hope you have someone you can rely on for support. I had my son come over a few times a week. I have neuropathy in my feet already which inhibits my ability to work on the ladder. Life's a b***h and I don't mean beach. Best of luck man.

    Yep, guy broke his nose pulling on a nut when the socket snapped. Sucks to learn the hard way. If the nut is not letting loose no matter what... I can guarantee you the stud or the socket will.
