Bad Crab/Good Crab???

    Yeah I found that one after the initial one and it looks very much like the one in the OP pics. If I had to choose I would also go with the Trapezia.

    I havent found anything thats says its a bad crab, only that it lives or hosts a coral. I would say throw it back in DT and then if you see any corals being messed with in a bad way then pull him out and fuge him.

    Wish I could be more help but sometimes you have to wait and see to make a decision in this hobby. Good Luck!

    i think its fine, those crabs live in birds nest and some acropora and are reef safe if it is what i think it is

    I have one that looks pretty similar living in my bicolor millepora colony. I have not seen any evidence of any wrongdoings by mine and the crab came in my colony a few months ago when I got the coral.

    I would put it back in your BN, otherwise it might get eaten before it gets there. They get less ornery when they don't think they will be eaten. ;)

    thanks.. I put him back in that day.. he is just hanging out in the BN having a good time.. He seems to love feeding time as well. Im going to say this is a cool addition.
