Thanks, what a great idea. I went and bought another goby, a bit smaller than I wanted but none the less I did it. I also got some screen and am going to follow your suggestion on the back. When I looked into my tank again, I found that the duster hadn't just blown off his crown, its the whole thing, worm and all. I am being told that he will grow another tube? I sure hope so....

I'm so sorry! I hope the new goby works out. I lost my coral beauty yesterday, who decided to jump.

 

yes they can create a tube realitively fast(for something a worm makes), as always make sure your water parameters are in check and you dont have predatory fish. good luck in the future. i see alot of post were gobies make it through eggcrate

btw i think its funny that you say blown its top, i picture a old cartoon where the characters have a nuclear blast go off above there head when really angry. ;D

Tripplemom, sorry to hear that you lost your coral beauty, it must have been a full moon and these creatures were looking to turn into something other than crispy critters lol
