Looks like one of the bad types of flatworm right ? I took it out just in case.

No, but it's a nudibranch, not a flatworm, and a very cool looking one. It's fuzzy like a Jorunna or Hallaxa species... I think the thing is folded over, so that you can't see its gill. Can you get a pic with it flattened out like it's crawling? It's not one of the coral eaters, it's a sponge eater.

    Cheers,

    Don

here you go, sorry for such a long delay, I can't believe that thing is still alive, I took it out of the tank on April 25th 2009 at 10:30AM, and it's still alive and well, it's in a glass with some aquarium water (from when I took him out) covered with saran wrap with a couple of holes in it !

Yep, it's a dorid nudibranch, and I'm 99% sure it's a Rostanga species (most of them are orange or red, and have the fuzzies like yours). It won't eat your corals, and if it's out of its food sponge, will starve to death eventually. I'd put it back in the tank and enjoy it as a colorful resident as long as it lasts.

That's the first one of those I've seen as a hitchhiker.

    Cheers,

    Don
