So, I noticed that one of my blue legged hermits seemed to be stuck in a hole in my live rock. It was in the same spot for a couple of days, and I was pretty sure that it was stuck or dead.

I reached into the tank to investigate. Sure enough, the shell was really wedged into the hole. While I was trying to get it out I noticed that the crab was still alive.

It took a little bit of effort to get it loose... perhaps a little bit too much effort because suddenly the crab launched out of the hole, rebounded off of another piece of live rock, and landed right in the mouth of one of the heads of my torch coral. :-/

I applied just the right amount of force, it rebounded at just the right angle, and the current was just strong enough to make it a perfect delivery.

I'm not sure what happened to it after that. The torch wrapped it up pretty tightly. Crunchy treat for the torch, or do you think that it was spat out?

Damn, then the hermit may be looking for revenge. ;-)
