I am going to use what rock I have and kill it off to make sure I get the hydroids gone and not sure where I am going to get my rock from. Any suggestions. I figure I need 200 pounds plus what I got will work and use some for the sump/fuge. Who's got the best deal and I am thinking all base rock and seed from a reliable source. I will let you know gras and I will definitely need some help setting this bad boy up. Aquascaping is going to be a all night event. LOL
I will post a new thread on stocking plan very very soon so be looking for it. I am finalizing some deals right now on tank itself and checking into some lighting. MH it is. I don't want to be limited.

for base rock reefcleaners has some for 2.50 a pound. they say free shipping over 30 pounds. i havent ordered any, but they say it looks nice and the pic of it looks good. plus you get a forum member discount.

edit and if you need the seed i will give you a couple pounds of my rock if you pay for the shipping. never had any problems with it except for the cycling of green and brown algae, 4 years ago. and 2 years ago i pulled of one bubble algae bubble, after that never say any ever again. and as far as hitchhiker wise it has almost none a couple of feather dusters maybe(i think my puffer at them all), maybe a zoa or two.

I will check them out and you can't beat free shipping especially with the amount I need. I will definitely keep you in mind for seed. Thanks my friend.

Not the lottery but from my hot rod fund I decided not to buy and a big fat bonus and promotion at work put the icing on the cake. Once I get everything here I will be calling for you gras. My wife said you need to come help me too. LOL and John wish you were closer to. The more the merrier.

I checked out the site and for this item it says no discounts available. But it is still a good price. I'll check more into it.

cool! yeah hot rods.....driving up and down the road, wasting gas, away from the home, instead of being with the wife and little darlin, just driving around....who needs that? I say you're making the right investment! never know your daughter might turn out to be a Marine Biologist and save the planet all because you got a bigger tank! ;D

I'll pm you with a suggestion!

OK some more bad news. A 6 foot tank will not fit. This sucks. So now my question is what is the biggest 4 foot tank I can get with out snorkeling gear. I found a site with a 120 that is 48x24x24 but will have to check around to see if I can get it locally. I do know locally I can get a 90 and a 110 but the 110 is to tall. 30 inches tall. Man why can't things go my way. I definitely want over 100 gallons but I just can't make the 6 footer fit with out the wife being mad. She's the BOSS.
