YEA YEA lol, idk im thinking about it but this was a stressful event, long nights, not enough brewske's to hold me over, and now the ATO junk, but i was already designing one at work today, the stand is 43l x 26w and id have to custom make it to fit the stand... but it would DOUBLE my tank volume on it.. id go from a 57 to a 116

well.. lets just say i LOVE them, i could not be happier, and i did find out they are completely water proof........... :-X i had my coral/rock in a tote, and was JUST starting to refill my tank up when my dog, decided to drink the water, and well... his tail knocked it off the edge of the tote in the water, and its working great (thank god)

I'd say go ahead and do it. 8)

Though, like you said, if you think corals are stressed then I would wait about a week or two before actually switching the tanks.

it would be about a month or so, i would build or have one built, and then repipe and get a bigger skimmer (already on order) and then it would be a fully upgraded stand that turned into a fully upgraded set-up... lol

Just an FYI, I used a black rubber mat that is found in the flooring section of home depot. It comes in big rolls so you can get it cut to your liking. The bottom is flat the top has ridges almost like channels. I glued it down and siliconed around the edges. I had a leak recently and all I had to do was get the wet vac and it was 100 percent dry no towels needed, it protected the wood kept the water where I wanted it.
