So this last week was not a good one we had 1 red firefish jump and 1 female wrase jump then found the cuprit to be my small sailfin getting aggressive. So 2 fish dead then we caught him and sold him back. But on good news got a great lawnmower Blenny to eat the ton of green hair in the tank.

Sea Hares are also great if the hair algae is a problem. :)

Sorry for the losses, a cover would be a good idea. You can make it out of large hole window screen, bird netting and there is clear screen available also.

Do you know why they are jumping? Normally IME they wont jump for no reason...From what ive read up on, they jump because of stress or something.

He said his tang was getting excessively aggressive.

I made my jumper screen out of plastic gutter guard. Holes are about the same size as egg crate but its slimmer and black. You can get a roll for about $8 too.

Sorry for your losses, but yay for new fish!! I have a clear mesh screen and it looks great and doesn't block the light. Just an idea!
