bag of carbon in return chamber of remora?

    i was wondering where could i run carbon at? i have a 29 gal with only remora c hang on, a couple of koralia powerheads,and 40 lbs of l/r. would it work if i hung a bag in the return chamber of my remora? has anyone tryed this? how would i know if it is working or not?:confused:

    yes, it will work fine, as long as there is good water movement through the carbon you will be ok, I have a HOB in my fuge that i run carbon, phospan and a sponge in....works great.

    im not to sure but i think someone said that it wont work due to the water lvl rising in the skimmer

    yeah i think i remember seeing that somewhere also. i guess when i try it that would be easy to see if that happens or not. thanks though. i just thought i cant be the only person with only a remora for equipment wanting to run carbon. what do those people do? you know
