How do you guys feel about bag sales?
Do you think its worth the discount?
Do you think your buying the fish in a vulnerable state from shipping?
Is it better then buying a fish out of your LFS tanks?
    Thanks!

I only did it once. It did not make it. However, it was a very finicky tang to begin with.

Never seen a bag sale, but I wouldn't buy a fish that I know my LFS didn't quarantine and that I didn't know if it was eating or not.

    Thanks!

my lfs doesnt really care if we buy them in the bag or not but they like to kno wwhat its eating so they tend to stay away from it. i dont do it. unless i absolutely cant wait for the fish. then i might. but its not a good idea.

I think it really depends where you're getting the fish from and how it was handled up to that point there is such a wide variety of quality of handling it's hard to say AFAIK.
If it is coming from a reputable distributor and has been handled well and you get the fish as soon as possible from the LFS I don't see how it's any different than having a fish shipped to you from an online source, maybe a little more stress from an extra stop off but not a huge amount. An extra hour or two in the shipping process probably isn't going to be a make or break situation if the fish is healthy and has been shipped and handled well.
It probably also depends on the fish as well, some handle shipping better than others.
