    just changed the acella pump to the rio 600 and it seems to work much better. does anyone know it the fishing line mod will help?

    That's very odd. The Acella is a much better pump for the Bak Pak. the RIO 600RVT was far out performed with all my tests, even the MJ1200 (modded & unmodded).

    I find it odd too. The Accela pump is actually just a modded MJ1200. If your Accela is not producing good skimmate, it may be defective. CPR has very good customer service, give them a call, they will most likely give you a replacement.

    it seems to produce more bubbles and is a lot quieter than the acella. also pumps a little slower, had a lot of problems with micro bubbles with the acella. just waitin to see if it produces good skimmate. just a temp till i can drill my tank and get a sump goin
