What have you done as far as rewiring the harnesses that go to the lamps?

Two 1-lamp ballasts will not be wired the same as one 2-lamp ballast...

well I have a odyssea 4x65w pc unit (which is a corallife knockoff) with individual ballasts.. I always get them from this guy on ebay. they are direct replacements.. you'll need to measure your existing ones to make sure these fit exact..

    Ballast dimension: 9" x 1.5" x 1.25"

Amazon.com: Coralife Aqualight Ballast, 1X65W, Model: SPL-165R-JS: Kitchen & Dining

it says at the bottom of page:

    Product Description
The 2X65W replacement ballast for Coralife Aqualight Fixtures (except for Coralife Aqualight Retrofits) will run one 65W compact fluorescent lamps. NOTE: This ballast will not work in all Coralife Aqualight fixtures. Please check the model number on your ballast. This 1X65W ballast has Model: SPL-165R-JS written on it.

maybe your new ballast may only run 1 bulb.. which is wierd.. but read ^^^^^

So a little update... Called coralife which directed me to oceanic systems... Which is now Central. Long story short, I called them and told them my situation, and they sent me out two free ballasts. How awesome is that!!

Now that I have the lights on, I see there is these little tiny white organism looking things. I have a feeling they are aptasia. I am gonna do some searching on the forum for some answers, but thank you everyone for your input and advice!
