    Ballgame Tank Upgrade and Switch

Wow what a process. Can't say I'm having fun.... Yet.
The plumbing has been a challenge. I've taken your guys advice and watched tons of YouTube video. Struggled with getting everything to fit. Pump nose is 1/4 but need to get to 1". Home Depot and ACE didn't have one piece to do that so had to piggyback it. Intake is flex tubing and outtake is hard plumbing. I'm sure easy for some but I struggled.
All my fish are already in QT for ich. I'm on day 22 with that.
Move all invertebrates to an empty 10g that will be my 5 yr old daughters once done. Funny my 4 yr old cried because she wants the 10g. Put all my live rock into a 5g bucket.

Emptied 60 in to recycling blue 54g bin. Mixed new 30gs of water in the Rubbermaid.
Once tank empty moved it out of the way. Moved new 90g in it's place. Added new 30g of water, then 60 from old tank. Added sand.
And now at 930pm I'm having a beer and letting sand settle. Fish in QT so not a huge rush.
    So here I am.

I think you did a great job with the PVC. Where is the reduction you speak of? I don't see it.
You will enjoy this soon. :)

Nice! Be careful with the ball valve on your drain pipe.

That's only way to control the flow. Or am I missing something? I'm new to this. Added that coupling on top of bulkhead so I'm able to remove sump with the hard plumbing.

Thanks. Daddy little helpers. Until they fight over who gets to use the hose and who's turn is next. Haha. They are funny

Looks good. You have a ball valve on the return line and not on the drain correct? It's fine like that. You just don't want to restrict the drain line, which from what I see you didn't.
