Careful with that CCSF and corals, mine was like a lawnmower and wiped out some xenia, and some zoos.. he had to go back to the LFS.

wow. thanks for the warning.. I never really looked into it as my LFS had it in their frag tank.. The frags were raised on a rack, so I didnt even think twice that it could be non reef safe.. oh well, maybe I can trade him back for a brittle star or a small frag..

Where do you shop in B'ham? Just curious. We used to live there, but all I had was a FW tank when we were there.

I figured a skank town like Tuscaloosa couldn't possibly have a decent LFS (did I mention that I'm an Auburn grad?)!!! I'm kidding - but not about the Auburn grad part! I figure I'm allowed to rib you since we took the beating last year! Also, my husband happens to be an Alabama grad, so we're really messed up anyways.

The tank is looking good - I look forward to seeing more pictures!

Uh-oh, someone from Aubarn! And youre right, this little skank town has a pet supplies plus, which is a sad excuse for a LFS. There is also another place that shall remain nameless because while they sell fish, they might as well sell them as toilet decorations because thats about all youre about to get.. The place I go is called Aquarium Imports in Hoover on Hwy 31. Its a good store with reasonable prices on livestock, not so much for equipment. They have very healthy livestock and are just friendly people, so I enjoy making the trip from time to time..
So hows a couple who went to Bama and Auburn get along during the Iron Bowl, I could see that being entertaining;D

Aubarn...hadn't heard that one in a while! Of course, here in TN, we other-SEC-school folks kind of get buried underneath a heavy coating of ORANGE. It's everywhere!

I haven't been to Aquarium Imports - I know the Hoover area well - I used to live in Pelham and worked in Riverchase. We're lucky here to have 2 decent locally owned saltwater stores. Makes life a little easlier.

As far as the Iron Bowl, my husband surprised me with tickets years ago at Legion Field - I got stuck in the elephant section surrounded by that red color you like to call "crimson." Auburn lost on the last play on a field goal by the current kicker's FATHER - that's how long ago its been. Otherwise, we don't watch the game together....and we don't discuss it afterwards. It's worked for 26 years now!

    War Eagle! :p

I take it you're in Knoxville.. If thats the case I love that town, also Nashville.. Tennessee is a good place to call home. I wish I were only so lucky to have a LFS near by, it would make this whole thing a lot easier.
As for the games, I wish they were still played at legion field. That would make for an incredible game, meeting in the middle to duke it out.. This year we have to make the trek over to cow-town to see the game, which is always fun to go visit other rivals. Dont take me too seriously though, Im from Texas and down there everything is under a similar blanket of Orange. The Real UT.. Haha, Its fun to tease.. ;D
