I have new members to my reef tank.. Since my last update I have gotten a few things straightened out and upgraded a few small things here and there. First off I got some new corals... Hammer Coral

    Zoanthids
    [IMG]
    Candy Cane Coral

I also picked up a new fish. While Im probably going to catch some flack for having a tang in such a small tank, he was a rescue. The petstore here had him because someone ordered it and never came to pick it up. he was there for a week in a 10 gallon display full of damsels. I saw him a few times and then talked to the manager saying that the fish will die very soon from stress if you dont move it to a new tank, so he gave it to me. I was happy to take care of this fish. So to provide the least amount of stress I removed the two fish from my tank and acclimated him for 6 hours. So far it has worked out flawlessly and he is very healthy and eating well. So thats my story..

    Powder Brown Tang (named wu-tang)

    great update Bama

not sure why but I cant see the pictures - I just have the red cross telling me images are there

not the red cross as in emergency first aid team , that would be just ridiculous
I mean the red cross icon is there but no images

HOW HAVE I MISSED THIS THREAD??? I hate my ADD teenager attention span! :D

I love powder tangs! Great addition, he'll at least be better off (for now) in your tank, rather than the LFS tank. Plus, his name is already awesome. If I had a yellow tang, I'd probably name it Wu-Tang :D

This forum is going to get nuts at football season. Did I mention I got accepted to go to Auburn, but the out of state tuition was a tad high for my liking. So in state it is. Money saved is money well spent later on

I may not like troll tide, but I still have a basketball signed by Big Al in my closet. I got it in '98, back when I was just a young wipper snapper. And it's still inflated and up in my closet. One of those great memories where I won't get rid of that ball, even if it was signed by an elephant. :)

And what are the dimmensions on that tank? That tang looks to have a bit more swimming room than a typical 30 gallon could provide...
