That stain looks sharp and matches well with the other furniture. Looking good so far. I'll be paying close attention to your plumbing. What size sump/fuge will you be using?

    Haha, Anytime

Thanks Brian. My plumbing is going to be pretty simple and straightforward on this one, as I am going for a clutter free approach. I am using a 30 gallon (36") for my sump and fuge that I used on my 75. I will get a pic up of it when I finish it today so keep your eyes open for it.

On another note, making water takes FOREVER!!!

Hey bama, looks great. Hopefully I understand it though...correct me if I'm wrong. Your down line goes into sump plus tees of to you fuge? In the sump you have a J like dealio? By the way I like the concept of that. I read reefsparkys build and he did that as well. Now is pic #2 your return pump outside sump? If so return water is in middle? I also see that you have a flex or rubber hose as your return. Is there a reason you didnt use pvc? What confuses me is at your tee from inline it goes to the fuge but you have a line going back up...what is that? Oh yeah and if that is the fuge on the right...does the water just fall on top of water or should that part be submerged somewhat? Sorry so many ?'s not meaning to hijack, just learn. Looks great to me.

I use a flex tube for my drain and return. smoother in my opinion. Looks like he has his drain going into the sump at full and the refuge chucked down. At least that's what I see happening. Correct me if I am wrong.
