So I just ran across this cool looking little guy:

    http://liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=15+21+1693&pcatid=1693

I was just wondering if anyone here currently has one, or has had one in the past, and could tell me a little about them. The descriptions for them all lead me to believe that they would be a cool addition and should get along in my tank well, but I always like to check with folks that have real experience with keeping a species I am not familiar with.

Currently I have a 29 gallon tank with 40 - 45 lbs of LR, a few colonies of green colony polyps, a ricordea (I THINK it is a ricordea, but can’t be certain), a very chilled out bi color pseudo (he never shows aggression and even with previous tank mates, he has never been aggressive), a lawnmower blenny, an emerald crab, two peppermint shrimp, 3 very small blue legged hermits, and various reef-safe snails.

I know i will be adding a 6-line in the future. And I also plan on adding a black Australian clown later on. This Basslet would be the only other fish addition unless I have some unfortunate loss in the tank.

    Any thoughts people?

I would choose between the 6 line and basslet. They fill the exact same notch, so there could be competition/aggression problems trying to keep both of them. Basslets are sometimes known to go after shrimp and crabs as well, so just something to consider.

My 2 cents, @ 4 inches that mouth will be able to gobble some of the smaller dec. inverts. And considering it's a basslet, it could probably hold its own in a bar fight.

good information guys. I appreciate the responses. I guess I will just stick with the six line and clown. Maybe this just means that I need to start a new tank in the future :)
