    Are these stars safe to keep? I've heard that they're very good and beneficial and i've also heard that they will eat my animals once they get big enough.

    The serpent stars are relatively harmless. It is the brittle stars that you have to watch out for.

    They are the same thing. They are both Ophiuroids.

    Certain species are a little more aggressive but all have issues if they are hungry. aquarium
