Just got a new BC yesterday and am so thrilled that i seem to finally have one that will thrive in my tank!
Not sure what my fellow reefers experiences are with these beauties but this is Banggaii # 4 for me and the first one i've had that absolutly eats like a pig!
I even bought one for $40.00 once that was supposedly "tank raised" and "the only way to get one that will eat in captivity", only to flush him down the toilet after 3 days.ARGHHHH!!!!!
So yesterday i go to my favorite LFS and i'm looking at the fish and see a tank full of Banggaii's. I ask the owner to feed them so i can see if they're eating and that's when i came to meet "Raider". In goes the Mysis cube and as it starts to break apart Raider takes in about 1/3 of it at once!!! The others are barely paying any mind but Raider is gasping, his mouth opening and closing desperatly trying to swallow the whole cube!!!
I refused to move from the front of the tank. The owner had walked away to help another customer but i wouldn't even move to go and get him! I REFUSED to take my eyes off my new buddy!!!
Sorry i'm going on and on but i am just so happy that i seem to have finally found a healthy little Banggaii to enjoy in my new reef.It has been one of my favorites since starting in the hobby.
If anyone else would relate thier experiences with this beautiful fish i'd sure love to read about it.
Pictures will come as soon as i can get my main computer to work again.

I bought a pair of them in January with the hope of getting them to breed , so I can raise the fish.

They ate like pigs at the store and were only 10 dollars each. So it was hard to pass that up.

Mine were wild caught, but mine already have a brood of eggs in the males mouth. I should have fry in a few more days, and the tough part will be catching them. I have a trap of sorts up already with LED's so that as soon as the male releases them, hopefully they go into it. If I can catch any, I will put them in the fuge, where they can eat pods and I will gut load baby brine with selcon.
