I've been on here for a little while, but haven't posted pictures of my things, so here you go.

I currently have two FOWLR's plumbed together to a basement sump, a 180 and a 125, another 125 that is a reef tank, and a 20 gallon for my Orange Spotted Filefish. She's a coral nipper, I have to figure out what to do with her.

You can kind of see the three tanks from here.

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
You have some amazing fish there. Quite the collection. They all looks so healthy, vibrant colors and fat.

What is the Orange Spotted File fish eating and did you have to train it?

I have some corals, too. Still new to reefing.

Thanks, Corailline, the OSFF was started on Nutramar Ova, and also eats Mysis, and my corals. She is in a separate tank from the reef, now. No problems in the eating department.

That is a lot of water there. You have some really nice fish selections.

Did I see a seahorse in your reef tank????

Yeah, my bad. The guy I bought them from is very knowledgeable, and said it would not be an issue, but I found out differently online. The tank is 78 degrees, no issues so far. I didn't realize why they have stripes until I took that picture. It's hard to make her out.

The FOWLR tanks have a 90 gallon and a 100 gallon connected together as sumps. Just under 500 gallons total for them.

Depending on the species, and the kinds of fish and corals you keep, it could actually be ok. There's a couple species that are from the warmer waters, and certain corals won't bother it. Think non-stingers, like zoanthids and sun polyps. You also need to be considerate of the corals, though, since feeding a seahorse properly can pollute a tank past the point where most corals are comfortable.

Hell.. if it works... awesome! I love them and have always thought about what would happen if I put one in my reef. They are one of the few things that I truly feel uneasy about keeping. Too much hands on work, and I travel.
