The pipe fish have such expressions to their faces, maybe it's me, but they looking like their thinking serious stuff.

I still think at least one would do well in your tank. They NEVER hide and are always hunting around.

Very nice frag tank, that is a great RP frag you go, not color and growth. Tyree watermelon is to die for. I have to get one.

Tyree watermelon and Superman monitpora are two pieces I would really like to have after I get the tank settle again.

That Watermelon is as bright in person, real nice colors. It's my first chalice, and I wanted something that I really WANTED.

We were trying to put together a small group growout on a BPC Flamethrower chalice, but it went quick for more than the $350 asking price.

I have someone who mounted a piece of Garf Bonsai for me waiting to encrust a bit, and I'm also on the lookout for a Red Goniopora. I'm getting picky about what I add. ;)

Well, the Clown Tang was being a punk. He was growing faster than the other fish, and becoming too aggressive. I let it go until until there was physical injury. The Blueline Trigger had a small gash in his side and was being forced to hide in a corner. I had been thinking about putting the Clown Tang into the Queen's tank for a while, and yesterday was the day. I came home from work and the Blueline was still hiding and the Emperor was covered in spots from stress (not ich).

The Queen Trigger tank has some large rocks that she can't move where fish can find refuge. I fed the Queen on one side of the tank, while I had my son hold a large net in the center of the tank to keep her away from the tang. I dumped the tang into the opposite side of the tank and kept feeding the trigger until the tang figured out that he was no longer the alpha fish and it was a good idea to hide somewhere.

The tang hid in the rocks all night. I was afraid to look in the tank this morning, but the tang was swimming around like it's no big deal. No bite marks or other signs of stress. The Emperor Angel's spots are completely gone, and all of the fish in that tank look more at ease. The whole operation could have gone horribly wrong, but everyone is happy today. Whew. Glad that's over.

The clown tang looks positively dwarfed now by its new tank mate

    Thanks, 2in10. Time will tell.

It's hard to tell that the Clown Tang is 8" long, and VERY fat!

Do you by chance have any more pics of your sump and filtration? I am really interested in that.

    Thanks
