It's really is a beautiful coral. I have thought about giving the red variety a go but have not yet.

Congrats it's a great addition to your tank.

Found a small window in my work schedule to get the 300 going. Decided to use the RocketEngineer classic design with oversized lumber for the stand. 2x10's for the top and 2x6's for the rest. It took a lot longer to build than previous stands because of all of the pocket holes that needed to be drilled, but overall I'm very satisfied with it. Thank God I have an impact gun.

    Top and bottom assembled.

    All finished.

Big thanks to Bill, his brother Jamie, and my neighbor Lynn. We got the tank up on the stand this morning.

It's a FOWLR tank, and I wanted to have a go at a BB, so I painted the bottom white and the back black. I like the look of it so far.

Still have to level it out, add a couple of jack posts in the basement and do a little plumbing. Then it's time to get wet.

    WOW.

And great placement, my behind would be planted to that couch all the time.

This was the 125 as it was being taken down. The 300 will be home to the Blueline and Goldheart triggers, the Emperor and Blueface Angels, and the new guy, the Aussie Tusk. I'm thinking Goldflake Angel down the road.

The Goniopora is doing great, btw. Looks a little bigger each day.

It is the thing is a tank, thanks.

That's the idea! ;) It's a lot of work to get to that point. I'm tired. :p But there's more work to do if I want to get water in it.
