I know enough about sps to know they grow super fast when given calcium reactor crack.;D

That's right, you did. I can't even remember what happened to it. :-[

No Ca reactor for me, at least not yet. I may look into a controller when work slows down a bit. I still have new LED lights sitting on the floor waiting to go up, I need to make granite side panels for the 300, turn the old 125 into a sump for the FOWLR system, etc., etc. Yeah, I have a list. :p

You need to get crackin' on a big tank for upstairs. Brian has a nice one in the front lobby! ;)

I gotta get the 193 back to good, then i'll get the going onto the 400g upstairs .

I lost all my acros. I wont have as many sps as I did before. If I do I will frag away before the water flow is messed up too badly. Basketball sized colonies really killed my flow.

A 400 for upstairs would be great, Tom! What dimensions are you looking at? LED's, I would assume. ;)

I killed a really pretty purple plasma a couple years ago, it did look really bonsai-like

Well I wouldn't want it any taller than 30 inches, but more like 24 or so. Finish probably. And yeah, leds....

I'm this close to going black boxes on my 193.

Hehe, I got the black boxes up and running yesterday. They had to be 3" lower than the TEK (with 4 new bulbs) to get the same PAR. The corals all seem fine so far. The blue is uber intense. 8) Right now they are hanging from a PVC frame using the TEK cable griplock system so that it can be raised and lowered.

When I designed my systems, I did it with minimal maintenance in mind. We all get hectic times in our lives when taking care of our tanks takes a back seat. When my work schedule ramps up, often times I leave before the tank lights come on, and get home well after they are off. It can be hard to tell if things are going good or not.
