This might be my issue too. Everything was great, then over the course of a few weeks most sps went downhill. It coincided with the disapearence of my Flasher Wrasse, so it makes sense (plus its the best hypothesis I have right now).

The theory was that one of the chemicals did the immediate killing, and another was absorbed into the plant to keep the bugs off of them for a few months. Not sure if the same goes for coral, but the amphipods seemed to stay off of them for a short time, however, it seemed like they just moved on to the next weakest coral.

Check with a flashlight after lights out. They are fast, but if you shine just a little light so they aren't spooked, you can see what they're up to.

Amphipod trap 1.0 was a partial success. While I didn't actually catch any, I learned a lot. I was surprised how many were attracted to it in a short time. Probably 10-15 were crawling around it.

New Potters Wrasse didn't make it. Did very well the first few days. Eating and no aggression issues. Came home from work yesterday and it was hiding, beaten near death. Not to let it go to waste....

Thanks, Vinny. The wrasse was damaged and disoriented. I easily caught it, put it in the frag tank, and turned all of the lights off. It was the biggest fish in the tank. The other fish are a Tomini Tang, African Leopard Wrasse, Yellow Coris, and a Mandarin. I looked back at videos I took, and I'm wondering if the Potter's had impaired vision. I've noticed this happen with the Harlequin Tusk and some other new additions I've had in the past. The fish appear OK, and can find food, but it's more by smell.
