Not sure at this point. Maybe the Wrasse was stuck under a rock or something. Now they're all swimming around like nothing happened. The next Wrasse I get will go straight into the Frag tank until its fat and eating well.

Got a sudden outbreak of green and red bubble algae. Never really had any in the past. Since my sump volumne is greater than the DT, I decided to increase the flow
to the sump. What a difference that has made. Corals all have better PE and color, and the algae in the fuge has taken off.

Amphipod damage has tapered off. I think the problem occurred at the peak of thirty population explosion. Not exactly sure what caused it, possibly the result of using Interceptor. In any case, there are not as many around, and the corals have all recovered nicely.

Thanks, Cheryl. On the whole, all of the tanks are doing really well. No heat issues where I live. Reef tank is a constant 78.

I could have misinterpreted the tangs agressiveness, so maybe they're not so bad, but they're still a tang. :p

Top down images. All blue LED's, custom white balance, no post process. Yes, I know I have a ton of bubble algae. :p

    Nice update Jerry

Those lights make the reds and the greens really pop in that tank
fortunately, it does not do the same for the bubble algae LOL?

Haha, Steve. The red bubble algae is starting to disappear. It actually looks kind of cool under the LED's. Unfortunately, the Black Sun coral and the Dendro don't show up very well at all. I've been taking the blue LED flashlight along to frag swaps. ;)

Thanks! They're very easy to take care of once you figure out what they like.
