    Thanks much, budsbunny!

As promised, a little review of the Reef Angel pressure switch, also called the Water Level Expansion. Since everything is in DIY format, the switch came with no packaged instructions, or mounting hardware. The instructions can be downloaded here: http://www.reefangel.com/files/Reef Angel Water Level Expansion Manual v1.0.1.pdf

Assembly was very simple, just glue the the piece of pvc to the adapter with pvc cement, then insert the vinyl tubing into the module and the other end into the pvc adapter. The USB end of the switch gets connected to the main relay box.

After everything was connected, I ran the Wizard with the Water Level Expansion option checked, then uploaded the code to the controller. When it finished, the option to calibrate the switch was added to the menu on the head unit.

Calibrating was very simple. Pull the pvc tube completely out of the water, wait for it to stabilize, push the button. Put the pvc tube in the water up to the adapter, wait for it to stabilize, then press the button. That's it. This tells the controller what the pressure is at the bottom of the tube, and what the pressure is at the top. Values in between are reported as a percent.

I zip-tied it to the drain pipe that empties into the sump. It was the simplest option to keep it secure and in a vertical position.

I had trouble with the pump running correctly with the initial custom code that I used. Roberto supplied me with a new code in less than a day, and now it's running perfectly. ;D I can't say enough about the customer service with this product!

Thanks for the review! I may need to pick one of these up soon; no more worries of a float sticking!

    Roberto the Ninja, lol.

I was planning on getting the dosing pumps next, but this was more of a peace of mind necessity. The level of control with it is unreal. ;D

Last week I decided to take a Big Mamma feeding video with my phone. I forgot to close the lid, and water splashed all over the floor. Then it wouldn't upload to Photobucket. It didn't turn out the best, but it was a lot of fooling around, so here it is. Scallops and the big NLS sinking pellets. You can see how the crazy Clown Tang's head turns black when it gets excited.

OK, so I finally have a little stick farm growing. I want the tank to look a little more balanced, more "reef like". Currently looks like this. I'll post more pics as the sticks grow.

Moved the Blue Stag "frag" down, and it has actually colored up very nicely.

The Red Planet is finally showing a little upward growth.

    Purple Stylo on the side.

The photos of the Forest Fire Digi never come out right. It's more red, with a green skin and blue tips. I can't even get the the camera to focus on it correctly.

Acro colony that I got for helping a friend tear down his tank.

Another one from the same guy. Any ideas what it is?

Little Mille that I've had for a while is starting to color up. It's supposed to be red and blue.

Another Millie, was close to death when I got it. I think it's supposed to be blue. Not sure on that one.

    Purple Unknown

May be getting a little too much light, but I'll give it a little more time. It's growing new branches, though.

I really like this one. Under full lights, the tips are pink. Under blue lights, they're blue. These pictures were all under full light, but they came out more blue than they actually were.

Forgot the name of this one, but it's holding it's color well.

These guys are sitting in the frag tank for now, and may or may not make it to the DT.

    Red Setosa

    Red Millie. Still coloring up.

Anyone have an ID for this one? I kind of like the colors. Very vibrant under the blues.

Might put this one on the left side to balance things out.

Not sure about this one, but I like the colors and the long polyps.

Most of the bubble algae towards the top of the tank is gone, and the rest is on it's way out. I've been spending more time working with the sump and filtration, and it's starting to pay off. ;D

Hey Jerry image #8 looks like a GARF.

I really really like that Blue stage.

Possible Oregon versus Cali tort above the Setosa.

Red Millepora is a sweet pieces too.

    Looking very good.
