I'm sure I can find something at the swap, although the tank is pretty cramped already. Seriously considering turning the 300 into a reef, just don't know if I want to get rid of the fish in that tank. Another possibility is upgrading the 125 to a 150 or 200 DD.

Really liking the Tusk in the reef tank, although I've come to realize that the fish can't see very well. It can't locate food unless its directly in front of it and often misses it.

Why do thing the Tusk can not see well? A problem with that particular fish or that fish type?

And yeah is looks to be getting a little crowded.

Still looks a lot brighter now than the tank used to.

I like the coloration to the fish right below the yellow wrasse, is that a wrasse too?

It had vision problems from day 1 in QT, but I thought it was just temporary. Once in the 300, it seemed a little timid, but that was to be expected given the tankmates.

The other wrasse is a male Melanurus. Beautiful colors on that one.

I have a Reeflo Dart hybrid on order to replace the Mag pump. Its starting to throw off stray voltage which causes the temperature probe to give a bad reading to the Reef Angel. Thats how the last Mag went out.

I finally gave in to the puppy requests. My wife had been following a litter online, and we went to pick one out yesterday, a 7 hour round trip on my "day off", lol. Haven't finalized a name yet, but we're thinking Siku Tikanni roughly meaning Ice Wolf. So far, very well behaved for an 8 week old puppy!

The puppy walks like he owns it. The attitude looks strong with that one.

    They are a stubborn breed.

At least there will be plenty of help to get you through the puppy years.
