Siku has become comfortable enough to go into full on puppy mode, but has actually responded well to training so far. His will is strong, but my wife's is stronger. ;) First two pictures are from work. Play hard sleep hard. ;D

I'd get nothing accomplished at work with a puppy. :)

    Good luck to you! :p

    Nice Puppy Jerry!

Nice tank shot too a week or two ago.

I remember the guy that lives up north, that was finally going to try sps!
Those sticks sure look big! Were they small frags to start with? What chu feed'n them?

That's why I don't have a reef tank at work, Hunter. Although, I have thought about moving the big Queen to the shop for a write-off. ;D

We did consider naming him Sinatra. Not for the blue eyes, but because he wants to do things his way. :p What fun is life without a challenge????

Yes, Todd, Stick-O-Rama. A couple were a little bigger to start with, but most were small frags. With work being so busy, I have more or less neglected the tanks, but never missed feedings or dosing. The reef tank has the Aussie Tusk now, a good size fish that should provide plenty of SPS food. After I cut up the meat for the bigger fish, I rinse the juicy stuff off of the cutting board into the reef tank. All of the corals respond well to that. They also get powdery stupp like Reef Pearls, Coral Frenzy, Gonipower etc.

Reefing has taken a temporary back seat since we brought Siku home. For now, nothing but cute puppy pics. ;D

But equally just as good if not better. Too too cute. The image next to the crate makes him look like a little baby still. He has such an impressive and expressive face with those eyes and markings.

Still very much a baby, Cheryl. We were looking at his papers the other day, and realized that he's a week younger than the breeder told us, so we picked him up at 7 weeks, not 8. A little early for separation from his mother, but he seems well enough.

Being a Husky, he is a very nippy, playful puppy. Much like reefkeeping we had to figure out what we may be doing wrong in the situation. We spent a little time on Husky forums to figure out how to curb nipping. We were doing mostly everything right, but I knew we were doing something wrong. Today we made his commands more clear regarding "no biting". He listened most of the time, but the real test came at outside play, where he gets a little crazy. He wanted to play rough, so when he charged after me, I told him "no biting" before he got to me, then reminded him as we played. He already knew what the words meant, he just needed a clear, easy to understand reminder. The same went for pants legs, shoe laces, rugs, he just needed to be told clearly. They are such smart dogs. Or... maybe we are not so smart humans??? ;)

Yep 50% is training the owners. You can not let them be mouthy at any age. It's only natural for them to want to mouth everything thing and everybody but that action is for other dogs not owners. I see a ton of dog toys in your future.
Is he already crate trained? Does he sleep through the night?
I am sure he is quite the crowd pleaser when your out and about with him.
