I remember reading something about aluminum being really bad for a tank? I have a reflector I built that directs a little more lift down from the front of my canopy. I made it out of sheet aluminum. I also have a glass top over the tank. Does anyone know if the aluminum will be harmfull???

i also have an aluminum reflector which sits about 12 inches from the water and i have never had any problems with it. i would say there is nothing to worry about unless it is in direct contact with the salt water,
    in my opinion :)
