Barnacle Good or Bad

    I just noticed something that popped up in my sand. It looked like a feather duster until i took a closer look. Looks like a cone with hairs (feeding legs) coming out of the top. I looked up barnacle and thats what it looks like(couldn't get a good pic to share). Are these bad, Should i take it out. I don't want it turning into a nuisance. Thanks

    I don't think they are bad. I have several the have come as hitchhikers on my coral and have not seen them take over anything.

    Barnacles are only bad if they're on the underside of your boat or in the intake of your nuclear reactor ;D
