first post in a while so here goes.

ive bleached some live rock from my old 30 gallon since i had to take it down. i now want to add it into my 55 gallon. it is 30 lbs of rock and it has been dry from the bleach soak for about two months. it smells funny but does not smell like bleach:confused:.

my question is, should i cure it before i put it into my 55 gallon or should i just plop it right in?

    thanks,
    Gexx

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Having just nuked some of my rock works as well. My preference is to cycle the base rock in a another container for 1 week prior to adding it to the DT. I was surprised that even after nuking and letting it sit dry that I still had a slight increase in ammonia. Better safe IMO. Now I re-cure the rock prior to introduction to the DT.
